how unGoods have inferior emotions in quality and capacity by heliotach

I think it's about time everyone got woke about this.

Truth:

Thinkers have deeper and richer and more complex emotions than the zomg, so emotional right now nonsense of Feelers (except the Thinkers who are Sensors, obviously). This is seen across all of nature, wherein the animals with the highly-developed brains and greater cognitive capacity display deeper and more nuanced emotions and a broader expressive range.

The only reason(s) people think Feelers are more facile with or even monopolise emotionality is that:

'--Man-- Thinkers have thought -- Woman-- Feelers profound - and why!? Because he could never fathom her depths. --Women-- Feelers are not even shallow.' - Nietzsche

Altered that aphorism so as to increase its accuracy from, say, 75% true to 100% Truth. As a woke being such as I is wont to do.

Far be it from me to merely identify this gravest of confusions, I will of course apply my fierce and majestic INTP intellect to matters of ontology - that is, why does this confusion exist at all?? We think Feelers are more emotional because they do more tasteless emoting, but why is it the case that they do?

Subtlety, now (that means Feelers and Sensors stop reading now because you won't understand, we're proud of you for making it this far, yes the 'b' in subtlety is silent).

Consider not just emotion in itself as merely possessing a magnitude, but rather as a vector, as being directed towards something. Now the emotional discrepancy between Thinkers and Feelers should start to become apparent.

What do Feelers get emotional about? They get emotional about objects within their phenomenal realm of experience, including their experiences themselves as in the recurring Feeler fan-favourite 'nostalgia' (which is about as lofty as it gets). Mostly they get emotions about whatever's right in front of them and commanding their attention - think of an INFP crying about their cat or gay wizards in their children's books. Feelers mostly care about people, STs care about things and resources.

The emotions of NTs are directed towards things altogether more heightened and rarefied. And more subtle too, and by their very nature incomprehensible to those who do not likewise feel towards them. NTs feel emotions towards fucking ideas and concepts, and about things only insofar as much as they instantiate their ideals in reality. An INTJ or an ENTP will care about the humans in their life not because they're in front of them but because they care about humanity qua humanity. And life itself, and the fate of the universe. And Truth and justice and knowledge and goodness and love and strength. God Himself. Ideas abstracted from experience, not objects apprehended within experience. Things that precisely for their exalted nature are not as such 'there' in front of you to get zomg, all emotional and literally shaking rn guys about.

In short, we are duped into seeing Feelers as more emotional precisely because their emotions are so tacky and shallow and paper-thin.

So here are some NT emotions that I have catalogued:

-*- - An emotion describable only as something between sexual love and the joy of intellection, 'making love to thought'

&& - The true reverse of pain, not the 'pleasure' beloved of Feelers, but a warning of healing, growth, and change.

^ + ^ - The most complex emotion yet discovered, felt by those who consciously endure the change between mind configurations and experience the broad spectrum of possibilities inherent in thinking and being.

The last one in particular is only truly realisable in a post-human post-mortality future. Some of us are already living there.

And no offence to Feelers, I love and cherish them as much as the next INTP, like they cherish their cats. Just thought I'd express some of my opinions and perhaps play devil's advocate.
